These terms apply to all services provided by Ward Jansen Photography ("the Photographer"). By booking a session, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the following:
1. Booking Agreement
A booking is confirmed once a session date has been agreed upon and any required deposit or full payment has been received. By booking, the Client agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Use of Images (Publication)
Images created by the Photographer may be used for portfolio purposes, including but not limited to social media, website, magazines, printed materials, and exhibitions. If the Client wishes to restrict publication, this must be communicated in writing before the session.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices are subject to change. The agreed price at the time of booking remains valid regardless of future pricing updates. Full payment is due before final delivery of any images. Galleries will be delivered only after the balance is paid in full.
4. Image Delivery & Format
Edited images are delivered in JPEG format only via an online gallery. RAW files are not provided.
The gallery remains available for 2 months after delivery. After that period, archived files may be re-activated upon request, subject to a €200 reactivation fee.

5. Colour and Editing
Final images may appear differently depending on the device or screen calibration. The Photographer is not responsible for colour discrepancies in third-party prints or displays. Clients may not apply additional filters or edits to the delivered images unless agreed in writing.
6. Authorship & Copyright
All images remain the intellectual property of Ward Jansen Photography.
Private clients receive usage rights for personal use only.
Any commercial use (marketing, advertising, publications, billboards, etc.) must be explicitly agreed upon in a separate written agreement. Unauthorized commercial use will result in additional invoicing and possible legal action.

For business clients (B2B), social media usage, business cards, and small-scale print are included unless otherwise stated. Any extended usage (e.g., editorial publications, large-scale ads) requires prior written approval and a licensing agreement.
7. Collaborations (TFP / Unpaid Shoots)
For unpaid collaborations (Time For Print, creative concepts, or portfolio building), the following applies:
The Photographer retains full authorship and copyright of the images.
All parties agree that the resulting content is for non-commercial use only (personal portfolio, social media with credit, etc.).
Any commercial use or monetization by any party (including model, designer, makeup artist, etc.) must be explicitly agreed upon in advance, in writing.
Editing or altering the images is not permitted without written permission from the Photographer.
Proper credit must be given whenever images are published (e.g., “Photography by Ward Jansen”).
8. Number of Delivered Images
The number of edited images delivered will vary based on the type and duration of the session. While a minimum is always aimed for, no exact number can be guaranteed unless stated in the package description.
9. Cancellations & No-Show Policy
Cancellations are free up to 7 days before the shoot.
Cancellations within 48 hours that are not rescheduled will incur a fee of 30% of the total session cost.
If the Client fails to attend the shoot without notice, the full session fee is due.

10. Rescheduling
Clients may reschedule their session once without penalty, provided the new date is within 3 months of the original booking. Reschedules beyond 3 months are subject to updated pricing and terms.
11. Liability
The Photographer is not liable for injuries, property loss, or damage incurred before, during, or after the session.
In the event of severe weather, technical failure, or personal emergency, the session may be rescheduled by mutual agreement. If the Photographer is unable to deliver due to unforeseen circumstances, any fees paid will be refunded. No further compensation will be issued.

12. Gift Cards
Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Extensions may be granted at the Photographer’s discretion. Any price increase after expiry will apply.
13. Complaints and Edits
Requests for minor adjustments or feedback must be submitted within 14 days of image delivery. After this period, edits are no longer guaranteed.

The Photographer reserves the right to decline a session or collaboration if it does not align with their values, safety, or creative direction.
